What is seasonal colour analysis?
Seasonal colour analysis sorts natural colouring — skin, hair and eyes — into four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. What decides the season is whether your colouring is warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft. Each season has three subtypes. The colours of your own season bring your natural colouring to life; the colours of the opposite seasons work against it. The four seasons are described on their own pages.
How is the free colour test different from the personal analysis?
The free colour test is a short quiz that runs in your browser and estimates your season from your answers; it is for information only. The personal colour analysis works from your questionnaire answers and your own photos, determines your season and the subtype within it, and gives you a complete written guide as a PDF.
What exactly do I receive?
A personal PDF report in six sections: your season, your subtype and 10–12 named recommended colours; wardrobe and style; 5–6 colours to avoid, with alternatives; accessories and jewellery, including gold, silver or rose-gold metal tones; make-up and hair colours; and personal tips. It is a one-off report: no subscription and no account.
What kind of photo should I upload?
One to three photos of your face, in JPG or PNG. The best results come from sharp, front-facing photos taken in even, natural light, without make-up or colour filters. Light is the biggest source of error, so if you have two or three photos taken in different places, upload them all.
How long does it take, and how will I receive it?
The report arrives by e-mail within 24 hours of payment, as a PDF attachment, together with your invoice. If you can’t find it, check your spam and promotions folders.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
One fixed price for everyone, shown in euros before you pay. It is the final price: nothing is added to it, and there is no subscription or recurring charge. You pay once, on Stripe’s secure checkout page, by card (Visa, Mastercard) or with another method offered there. Your card details never reach us.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. The electronic invoice is issued in euros and in English, and it arrives together with your report. It is issued to a private individual: invoices with a company tax number are not available.
Which languages is ColourSense available in?
The website and the ordering process are available in 30 languages. The text of your report is written in the language you order in; a few fixed labels on its cover and in its headers are not yet translated into every language.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, until the report is delivered — and you get the full amount back, even if preparation has already started. Use the withdrawal form or write to support@colour-sense.com; the refund goes back to the same payment method within 14 days. What happens to my photos?
They are used only to prepare your analysis. We never publish or sell them, we don’t use them to identify you, and no model is trained on them. For the analysis they are processed by our service provider in the United States, under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We delete your photo 30 days after the report is delivered. Details: privacy policy.
My report hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
First check your spam and promotions folders, and the e-mail address you gave. If it still isn’t there, write to support@colour-sense.com and we will send it again, free of charge. A lost report can be resent free of charge for up to two years after delivery.
What if I seem to be between two seasons?
That is what the subtypes are for. Each season has three, and the analysis determines both your season and the subtype within it that describes you most faithfully. The subtypes are listed on the page of each of the four seasons.
Do I need to register?
No. You order as a guest: there is no user account and no subscription. The report comes as a PDF — save it to your own device when it arrives.
